My daughter used to ...Steel cut oats are fantastic. My daughter used to cook them while she was in the shower and everytime they overflowed. What a mess. The are easily done in my rice cooker. No mess, no fuss. When I want steel-cut oats in ...Simple can be good. When I want steel-cut oats in the morning, I put it in the pan with room temperature water the night before to soak. It cuts the cooking time down to about 5 minutes. Then I usually cover it and take my shower. Letting it sit 10-15 minutes finishes it off without additional heat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
